I was happy to see some new gear from akai embracing the ableton DAW engine its called the APC40 all the square buttons represent the different scene launch buttons and the buttons in the track selection grid are the track stop buttons it also has a bunch of knobbers and faders to assign all your effects and shit. i feel like this product is really needed but does it already exist?
Heres is the Monome which is sort of a similar multi-purpose midi-controller/sequencer. Monome is a very small company and doesnt have many distributers if any! and their expensive! i wonder how much the APC40 will cost? only time will tell.
